The series is strongest on the 1960 to 2000 campaigns. Areas of particular strength include material on candidates Robert Kennedy, Nelson Rockefeller, George Romney, Edward Kennedy, Gary Hart, Patrick Buchanan, Jesse Jackson, George Wallace, and Harold Stassen. Also documented are the issues and tactics used by presidential candidates and their campaigns during primary elections.
